Miya Salon is a high-end, environmentally conscious salon located in the heart of the Denver Highlands on Tennyson Street. Our neighbors include Vital Root, Hops & Pie, and Atomic Cowboy. Our Customers come from all walks of life and have hiigh expecttations for service and style.

At Miya Salon, we care about the environment and the health of our customer’s hair. We use Davines products and Wella color.  Familiiarity with these lines is encoraged but not required.

JOB SUMMARY
Miya Salon is looking for highly-motivated stylists to join our family of extremely talented professionals. We are a small team that supports each other and cares for each other’s success. We offer continuous education, and a competitive commission.

Specific Requirements:
– Proficient in a variety of cutting techniques and styles (Men and Women)
– Proficient in color theory, all over color, and highlights
– Proficient in styling
– Willing to work nights and weekends (we are flexible)
– Willing to self-promote ie. Social media, pass out business cards
– Willing to pre-book and sell retail
– Must be customer service oriented- must like people
– Team player
– Highly professional
– Valid Cosmetology license
– Two years of experience preferred but not required
– Additional training and certification preferred
